This single-family house, located in Dénia (Alicante), has been designed with the aim of making the most of natural light. Through large windows and a strategic orientation, the house allows the entry of sunlight throughout the day, favoring the visual connection with the outside environment. The design is organized around a play of volumes that establishes a balance between the modern and the traditional, with a minimalist approach that highlights the contrasts between forms and materials.
The vernacular stone, used in the facade and in some structural elements, not only integrates the house into the local context, but also contributes to the energy efficiency and sustainability of the project.
The distribution of the house responds to a design that connects continuously with the surrounding nature. The house is implemented following a 360-degree housing concept, where the different rooms are organized according to the most appropriate orientations for each use. This allows all the rooms to have an associated outdoor space, favoring a constant relationship with the environment.
